Cattery Websites

As a result of a query from a potential customer today, we had reason to do a Google search for Cattery Web Design, in order to see where we came up in the results.
It turns out that despite having only listed one cattery (that of Fordham Boarding Cattery) in our client list, we come up in the top ten in Google for such a search.
Of course, we’re not complaining – we’re happy to work on more cattery websites, just the same as we’re happy to work on any other sites. Equally, we’re happy to find more places where we come up in the first page of results on a Google search.
But it does go to show, a lot of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) work is just done by having clean content that is easily indexed by search engines. It’s not a black art, and it doesn’t need to take endless money and ’search engine knowledge’. Make your content clear, understandable, and easy to find, and the search engines will do a fair amount of the work for you.
