Working for OMBC has involved maintaining the OMBC website ( www.oldham.gov.uk ) and intranet, as well as the subsidiary sites such as Gallery Oldham, Visit Oldham, and the Oldham Housing Investment Partnership (OHIP) In addition, creating new sections for the sites, such as the Oldham Unitary Development Plan(UDP) section which included approximately 100 area maps, and navigation between maps according to their location, and maintaining the council's Forward Plan on the site.

Working with OMBC's sites has demanded a serious working knowledge of both technologies such as CSS and Dreamweaver (MX and MX2004) but also being able to understand the UK's guidelines on accessibility, but also the eGov requirements, BVPI 157 and APLAWS
