OCRs GCSE Science microsite

Education

The GCSE Science microsite was originally designed and hosted by an external agency for OCR.

As part of our work for OCR, we brought a number of the OCR microsites back in-house, or (as with the OCR Nationals site) migrating it to a hosting service where OCR had absolute control, rather than having to go through any further third-parties or agencies for the hosting of the sites.

At the same time, we did some maintenance work, fixing existing bugs and issues with the sites, and also added in some extra features for improving both the usability and the administration of the site for OCR's New Media Team (NMT). In addition, we worked on removing an old buggy custom-written content management system that had been added in by the initial design agency, although this work has not yet been completed.
