GEO (Visible Energy Microsite)

GEO were launching a complex customer trial of their "visible energy" devices - a range of systems that detect the power usage of a home, and display that consumption to the house owner. This trial was also being used by the University of East Anglia, and we had to build in the functionality for communicating the data in regular updates to UEA.

We created a complete microsite for the trial, from initial registration of the triallists through purchase of the devices through a custom-created shopping-cart system, payment processing via PayPal, and the full management of the customer's details, power usage, energy usage, property details and the ability to upload recorded data from the devices to the website. In addition, we wrote a custom form-handling system with dynamic updates and completion tracking.

As this site is for registered users only, we have a separate demonstration version of the site- without GEO's customer data- operating on one of our demo servers. If you wish to see the site at all, please contact us and we can set you up as a sample user to see how the system works.
