Start-Up

D4D is a fairly popular blog written by one of our contacts in Norfolk, running on a significantly out-of-date install of Wordpress.

The site had had the same design since its launch six years ago, and we were approached to provide some input on upgrading the site to the latest version of Wordpress,and working on a new design and theme. In addition, the owner had requested a change of hosting server.

D4D relaunched on the new server on 13th February to positive responses, and we will be involved in a longer programme of improvements and amendments, including the possibilities for resurrecting other sections within the site as time goes past. Prior to resurrecting them, we'll also be establishing whether those sections are actually being used, or if it's easier to let them die gracefully.

For the design we used (and amended) a Wordpress template by Infocreek which fitted the client requirements and approval.
